Private Patient Transport

Are you someone who had to use the NHS for appointments on a regular basis but dreads whether you will be picked up at the right time and whether you will ever get home. If you are attending an appointment at a hospital of clinic or dialysis you are likely entitled to hospital transport. Demand for services are higher than ever and this has put strain on services. MET Medical provides services to the NHS on a vehicle-by-vehicle basis.

If you want to avoid the wait, you can have your own dedicated non-emergency ambulance to take you to or from hospital appointments. You can expect the crew to bring you all the way to the appointment and collect you when its finished. Our non-emergency patient transport for hospital appointments gives those with reduced mobility or additional needs a pay-per-use service. We cater for all kinds of mobility, whether you need a little assistance, a wheelchair or a flat bed.

Our ambulance crews are all qualified and able to assist with the administration of medication. We also train our staff in dementia and assisting people with learning or communication difficulties. Almost all of our vehicles are double crewed meaning there is an attendant all times in addition to the driver.

We can transport to and from NHS hospitals or private hospitals/clinics. We can even take someone to the beach if needed, although perhaps when the weather warms up a little!
