The events industry has had a traumatic time over the last 18 months but there is now potentially some light at the end of the tunnel. This too has put strain on event medical providers, those who are smaller and only provide medical unregulated cover for events have suffered as they have lost all income where as those who also provide NHS ambulance provision have been busy supporting efforts on the front-line.

With this in mind MET Medical has already seen a rapid demand for medical cover for the later part of 2021. Confidence is building in the vaccine program and event organisers are already pencilling their events back in. One change that has occurred is that some events are moving to later in the year for some assurance that things will be back to normal. This is placing extra demand on those who are still providing services. Furthermore Red Cross handed its event business over to another voluntary organisation who are also busy working on the national vaccination program.

As a business MET Medical has decided to focus on supporting larger events 5,000-100,000 capacity and is taking bookings right away. Please note some weekends in September are already fully booked and the events calendar is filling rapidly, so please get in touch with our team right away if you need medical cover for 2021 or 2022.
